Throughout his 25-year career, Copeland’s experience in business management and operations within industries such as CAD design, electronic packaging and assembly, manufacturing control systems and contract engineering/manufacturing, has proved invaluable. As a former vice president of operations, plant manager, quality management representative, purchasing manager and human resource manager, Copeland’s diverse career prepared him well; he seeks every opportunity to share his knowledge and best practices with others.
Serving a wide base of clients including manufacturers, distributors, service centers, academic institutions, security companies, industrial organizations and foundries, Copeland has successfully executed numerous quality-related projects that greatly improved performance and garnered service-oriented results. Whether he’s overseeing a plant’s relocation, selecting/implementing computer-based tracking systems or creating and managing a firm’s design group, Copeland’s actions get positive results.
A graduate of The United Electronics Institute, Copeland also attended the University of Akron and Cuyahoga Community College. He is an RAB/QSA Quality Management System auditor and Certified Plexus Trainer in addition to his vast quality management system training and coaching/consulting experience.
